About the Author
Alessandra K Veronesi was born in Milan and grew up between Northern Italy, New Jersey, California and France. Alessandra then pursued a career in Marketing and MBA in New York City, later spanning into Europe for more than fifteen years in the insurance, software and finance industries. She now resides in Italy and dedicates her life to helping others see the light within themselves and developing personal projects related to this end.

You can’t just tackle fear, you must tackle what is behind it. The
pain you have inside, the situations in your childhood that brought
you to seek this drastic psychological coping strategy.
Fear is truly a primordial reaction, like a small animal fleeing a predator.
It’s a defense mechanism that can kick in after we experience a
series of bad outcomes, particularly in our childhoods, that taught us
the world was not to be trusted.
But we can trust in life, we can expect beautiful things and expansive
outcomes. And we can certainly choose to not be defined by fear.
We can choose to trust in the unknown, in the goodness of people,
in the goodness of the world. We can also trust in the experience that
we have gathered so that we no longer fall for the same old traps.
In the end, nothing truly matters but the experience you are having
right now. Fear, just like any other state you find yourself in, doesn’t
define you. When it comes in, make it a short stay by understanding
why it has come, and go reach for what you need. Fearlessly.
